For fast and efficient hazing of a larger stage, we recommend using in conjunction with a Jet-fan.
The Concept Colt is perfect for smoke on set. The machine uses a system that does not need electrical power or a battery to produce smoke – so that the operator can walk through the set ‘smoking up’ without the need for a power cable. It can produce a lot of smoke before it needs to be re-heated.
Between uses, the Colt is left connected to 220v power to re-heat itself, and then unplugged for portable smoke generation.
The Colt uses Concept smoke fluid ‘A’ in refillable screw in aerosol cans, that can be filled by the user and pressurised with either a bicycle pump or compressor and then stored ready for use.
Power Tiny smoke machines from Look Solutions (in Germany) are powered by a rechargeable 12v battery and don’t require any warm up time – making them super convenient to use on set.
They use a water based fluid and are supplied in a flight case complete with a charger and 250ml bottle of fluid.
We also have a RF remote control available for the power tiny in case you need to put it somewhere you don’t have access.
The power Tiny can produce approximately 8-10 minutes of continuous smoke on a single charge and has an adjustable output.
The Tiny S is the latest version of the successful Tiny series. In addition to the fluid reservoir, the battery also can now be screwed directly into the machine, giving it truly tiny proportions of 10cm x 4.5cm x 3.5cm.
The Tiny S consists of only one component, has 2 output levels, and can be remote controlled.
Supplied in a case with 2 x spare batteries, 3 (refillable) fluid tubes, a 250ml bottle of fluid, charger and (optional) remote control.
The Artem Fogger is the ideal smoke machine for exterior locations where electricity is not available. Popular with film crews on location, this smoke gun has become the industry standard for quick atmospheric effects outside. Small, lightweight, and easy to operate, the unit uses disposable aerosols of Butane fuel gas and smoke fluid to produce billowing clouds of white smoke. Featuring a piezoelectric ignition, the smoke gun is incredibly straightforward to use. Simply screw in the canisters, pre-heat the stainless steel coil with the built in torch, and turn on the smoke. It’s that easy.
It’s variable output can be regulated from light wisps to a dense billowing fog. This is our biggest and most popular wind machine! It is lightweight and easy to move, mounted on a trolley with 360 degree rotation and up/down tilt. It has an 18 horse power Kohler V-Twin petrol engine with electric start, 130cm carbon fibre ‘Helix’ blades supports for mounting water or snow sprays.
This is our biggest electric wind machine, at 15kW with a 22kW inverter to give smooth and precise speed control they are ideal inside a studio or out on location.
The machines are mounted on sturdy steel trolleys with separate inverter/speed control units.
Power is supplied via 5 pin 32A 3 Phase sockets.

These are ideal for use in studio and can be mounted on a lighting stand if required. They have a long ‘throw’ and can be adjusted smoothly from zero to full power via a dimmer on the back.
The green plastic housing is perfect for use on green screen sets.
These fans are also excellent with a Viscount Hazer to quickly haze a large space for smooth, even smoke texture.

Running on liquid fuel, each pump can produce very large flames from up to 4 separate sources, each of which can produce flames around 16-20′ (5-6m) high – that’s an awful lot of fire!
The system produces flames with a far richer colour profile than gas flames and a lot of smoke.
Please note that we do not ‘dry hire’ our Dante systems, they can only be supplied with an operator.
Flame bars are the simplest and most easy to use flame sources. They run from standard LPG tanks and can produce flame up to 5′ (1.5m tall). They are also ideal for small fires and camp fires etc.

These water extinguishers are useful to have standing by when you’re doing a fire on set. They are easily refillable with water and can be repressurised using a foot pump or compressor though a normal car tyre type valve.
They produce a powerful stream of water and stay pressurised and ready for use indefinitely.
Our Nitrogen accumulators provide the ultimate power to launch, push or smash things!
Built with ultra fast 2″ (50mm) valves and rated at 100 Bar (1,450psi) they have to be seen in action to be believed.
The accumulators can be charged with a SCUBA tank or industrial Nitrogen cylinder. The number of shots per cylinder depends on pressure.

Polycarbonate safety screens can be used to protect the operator or essential crew from flying debris, hot casings or other hazards while shooting action scenes.
Our screens can be used singly or joined together to make a larger surface. Each is 2m tall and 1.1m wide with a steel frame and 6mm polycarbonate window. Although they are not actually bullet proof, polycarbonate is highly resilient to impact and they will afford a good degree of protection from most hazards.
The frames join together with simple pin joints and are fast and flexible to set up.
Please note that they are designed to protect personnel and are not optically perfect – we do not advise filming through them.
Our hydraulic gimble is designed to move a whole set or set piece like a boat or aircraft. It is especially suited to ship-at-sea type pitching and rolling movements – which it does in a far smoother and more natural fashion than the traditional type of gimble with rams mounted underneath.
The rig can support up to 5 tons and is powered by it’s own 40kW diesel power pack with 40m of hose to keep the sound of the power pack well away from the gimble itself. It is designed to be hung from a crane.
The rig can be suspended in or over water to puppeteer a sinking ship or to support a set for shots inside a sinking vessel.
Currently the gimble is based at Pinewood Malaysia Studios, but it is easily transportable, housed in a 20′ shipping container complete with all the associated tools and equipment. It can be assembled on location in a day.
